To celebrate World Music Day 2025, Monkey Shoulder Whisky is setting the stage for a next-level sonic experience at London’s KEF Music Gallery. On Tuesday, June 17th, this exclusive pop-up—dubbed Monkey Shoulder Records—will transform the high-end audio showroom into a one-of-a-kind audiophile playground. Marrying the immersive appeal of record stores with the cozy ambience of listening bars, the event will bring crate-diggers and music lovers together for a full day of curated vinyl sets, iconic DJ performances, and high-fidelity soundscapes.
This collision of music culture and cutting-edge audio tech features legendary selectors DJ Target, Katy B, and DJ Arthi, who have each crafted exclusive “vibe-only” vinyl selections for playback on KEF’s state-of-the-art loudspeakers—including their flagship MUON system. Seven of the UK’s most revered record stores, including Honest Jon’s, Eastern Bloc, and Sister Ray, are also contributing expert-curated crates spanning genres like hip-hop, grime, and house. Add in Worldwide FM’s exclusive global vinyl pull, and you’re in for a genre-blending journey worthy of World Music Day 2025. Guests can attend hourly sessions from 12:30pm–5:30pm, with after-hours DJ sets by Target and Arthi from 6:30pm onward—first come, first served.
The event wouldn’t be complete without Monkey Shoulder’s signature cocktails, crafted to complement each genre’s flavor. Whether you’re into jazz, pop, or deep electronic, this full-sensory experience guarantees bold beats and bold sips in equal measure. As Stephen Reynolds, Head of Marketing at Monkey Shoulder, puts it: “It’s a must-visit for any true music and whisky lover.” Want more insight into how we’re turning up the volume this summer?
