Innuos has officially launched its new Stream Series globally, introducing the Stream1 and Stream3 music streaming servers. First unveiled at top-tier audio events in Chicago, Shanghai, and Kaohsiung, this next-generation series is designed to replace the now-retired ZEN Mk3 Series and marks a new entry point into high-performance digital audio.
Running on the newly released Sense 3.3 beta software, the Stream Series brings enhanced usability and functionality through key features like Spotify Connect, Qobuz Connect (beta), SmartQ playlist continuation, and an intuitive Presets widget for instant playlist and internet radio access.
The compact Stream1 serves as the series’ entry-level model, appealing to audiophiles seeking a balance between affordability and high-quality audio performance. Despite its half-width form factor, it supports USB audio output, optional DAC output modules, and up to 4TB of M2 NVMe SSD storage. For users aiming to elevate performance, the Stream1 offers the option of integrating the new LPS1 linear power supply, which features a premium-grade 150VA transformer and Mundorf capacitors for improved signal purity.
Taking center stage as the flagship model, the Stream3 boasts a striking 10mm CNC-machined aluminum chassis, enhanced by 4mm additional grounding layers to combat electrical noise. Under the hood, it’s powered by Innuos’ top-of-the-line ARC6-CX active-rectified linear power supply, co-developed with audio power supply expert Dr. Sean Jacobs. Designed for discerning listeners, the Stream3 supports an optional PhoenixDAC module with XLR/RCA analog outputs, OCXO/FEMTO clocking, and advanced, independent analog regulation.
Both the Stream1 and Stream3 offer modular flexibility, with available output add-ons such as Standard DAC, PhoenixUSB, PhoenixI2S, and SPDIF output boards, allowing users to tailor their streaming system to match evolving system configurations or personal preferences.
Innuos CEO Amelia Santos affirmed that the development of these products reflects “years of research and a deep commitment to delivering uncompromising digital audio performance.” The combination of modular design, audiophile-grade components, and cutting-edge software positions the Stream Series as a compelling proposition for hi-fi enthusiasts and streaming audio purists alike.
Pricing for the Stream1, Stream3, and associated modular upgrades is expected to be confirmed soon. Stay tuned as Innuos continues to redefine what’s possible in high-fidelity streaming and digital audio architecture.
