DALI V-16F Flagship Subwoofer has arrived—and it’s making waves at the Munich High End Show. Tipping the scales at over 50kg, this ultra-powerful subwoofer is crafted with high-performance home theatre setups in mind. Designed to deliver exceptionally deep bass down to 19Hz in-room (-3dB), the V-16F expertly balances seismic low-end power with pinpoint precision. Engineered for versatility, it also performs seamlessly in smaller listening spaces, thanks to its low-loss, wide-band architecture and advanced distortion management across and beyond the audible range.
At its core, the DALI V-16F Flagship Subwoofer showcases a massive 16-inch driver featuring the brand’s largest-ever Constant Surface Surround (CSS) design. This breakthrough uses alternating concave and convex curves in the surround, virtually eliminating distortion for ultra-clean, powerful bass output. Supporting this is a purpose-built aluminium chassis, a precision motor system with Faraday rings to reduce magnetic modulation, and a laminated T-shaped vented pole-piece ensuring symmetrical magnetic flow. An aluminium diaphragm, four-layer voice coil, and 1,500-watt Class-D amplifier (2,500W peak) work together to produce ±16 mm linear and up to 70 mm peak-to-peak driver excursion—all within a resonance-free 90L cabinet reinforced by thick composite panels and internal bracing.
Signature features include Room Mode Attenuation, Leader/Follower syncing, Constant Group Delay, and user-selectable modes such as Cinema, Music, and Boost—designed for uncompromised clarity in both movies and music playback. The DALI V-16F Flagship Subwoofer is priced at £4,499 / €4,999 and launches this July. Discover more about DALI’s acoustic innovation on DALI’s official website.
